Essential Duties and Responsibilities and Leadership Competencies

Documentation Management and Improvements

  • Review and recommend changes to Quality Control Plans.
  • Review and recommend changes to Playbooks.
  • Create and edit Job Safety Analysis.

Production Operations

  • Assign employees to work centers based on training capabilities.
  • Help create a culture of continuous improvement on the production floor by teaching the necessary job knowledge, and technical skills to the team.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:  

  • High school diploma or equivalent degree (GED), 0 to 2 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Machine Level Experience and Training:

  • Certified to operate and setup various machines throughout the facility.

  • Quantitative Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. While out on the production floor, the employee will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hearing protection, safety glasses, steel-toed boots with metatarsals, and/or gloves when handling material or chemicals.
