The role of our machine operator is to take raw materials and produce finished goods through the use of a number of machines in the warehouse, by setting up die press machines and feeding various materials through the machine and collecting and packing finished parts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 What your day will look like:

  • Follow Safety Protocols and guidelines.
  • Operate machines by loading material into machine and removing it once cycle is completed.
  • Perform basic preventative maintenance and other duties related.
  • Make basic adjustments to machines and other duties related.
  • Load program/perform basic edits.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement Initiatives for safety, quality, and process improvements.
  • Perform quality checks.
  • Troubleshoot/resolve equipment errors and malfunctions.
  • Complete End of Shift responsibilities.

Attendance & Accountability

  • Takes ownership and responsibility for assigned tasks, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Adheres to scheduled working hours, arriving promptly and being present for the entire duration of the shift.
  • Maintains regular and consistent attendance, minimizing unplanned absences or tardiness.
  • Notifies the supervisor or appropriate personnel in advance of any planned absences or request for time off.
  • Builds a reputation for dependability and trustworthiness through consistent performance and reliability.

Qualifications

 General:

  • You must be at least 18 years old to apply for this job. The Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) prohibits minors under age 18 years old to work in any occupation that it deems to be hazardous. 

Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED 

Machine Level Experience and Training:

  • Employees will be taught and or qualified to operate 1-20 machines.  

Tech Skills:

  • Ability to read measurement devices (i.e. ruler, tape measure, scale)
